15th December BUILDING A MODEL RAILWAY COURSE 2014
The last session will be held this coming Wednesday (17th).
There are no plans currently to have a similar course in 2015.
So far three courses have been run, but the take up has been low on the last two courses despite initial enthusiasm at launch.
There is a possibility of having a monthly railway interest group at Liphook U3A in 2015, which will cover a wider span of railway interest- local railway history, walks on abandoned lines, visits to places of railway interest in addition to railway modelling.
We will have a table at Liphook U3A’s Open Day in March 2015 to see if there is any interest.
