The flyers for insertion into the Milland News will be printed in the next couple of days- over 500 will be printed for this with perhaps 100 more for use at publicity events in the run up to the event.

In over four column inches, our 50th birthday, our open day and the club’s previous involvement of members in the early days of the Gauge 0 Guild all gets a mention.
Considering I included in the covering note to the editor “Greetings to our colonies” it was surprising we got a mention!.

BUILDING A MODEL RAILWAY COURSE-jointly with Liphook U3A
The course starts tomorrow and runs for 8 two hour sessions , one every 2 weeks ( there is a break to the pattern in October) 5 people will be attending.
This is the third course we have run. The first was in 2010 to celebrate 100 years of model railway clubs in Britain and attracted 11 “students” This ran for 12 weeks as an evening session in Milland Village Hall Committee Room..

In the current issue (Autumn 2014) is a submitted full page article on the club’s 50th year, together with some archive photographs unfortunately without captions.
I’m pleased the article finally made it as we have had mixed reactions to articles submitted, with many not reaching print, despite being advised they would appear.
