Pull -Push- Have Hornby got it wrong?

I have just received the Hornby Maunsell coaches labelled Pull- Push coaches.

Now as I had this sort of train in view of my bedroom window from 1 day old to age 9 or so, I was told and knew them as push-pull.

Who is right?
