We have taken the decision to no longer keep the Google+ pages on members layouts, the club, club history & history of the Liphook Railway Station up to date. Content that is still relevant, will be transferred to this site over a period of time.
This will mean a significant increase in the number of pages on this site- more to see, read & come back to!
This June it will be 30 years since British Rail introduced Network South East & abolished the regional structure that had been in place since 1948
Bachmann have announced some new models in NSE livery in OO & N scales. A new feature on the carriage front introduces several types with model passengers in place.
We have a full page article on the club covering most aspects. With the amount of new house building in Liphook might attract some new residents as members?
There is also an article on the Rex Cinema, formerly on the outskirts of Weyhill, Haslemere with a superb photo of the exterior, with a crowd outside & numerous cars of 50’s/60’s vintages dropping people off. Would make a good model!
