The committee room (our clubroom) has been further enhanced by the donation by Lorraine Grocott of a framed photograph of a steam special passing through Liphook railway station.

In the current issue (Autumn 2014) is a submitted full page article on the club’s 50th year, together with some archive photographs unfortunately without captions.
I’m pleased the article finally made it as we have had mixed reactions to articles submitted, with many not reaching print, despite being advised they would appear.

David and John worked on tram track and the first trams crossed the road bridge in fine style, with assistance from Tony G and Reg
Bob and Ben were working on wiring of F.Y. with some problems- some homework possibly.
Nick continued his work on East German flats and used club plotter to cut out window panels.
Matt did some new weathering work on the river banks
Your scribe did the planning for which layouts go where at the Open Day and some preliminary scheme for F/Strasse street level entrance
Chris did sterling work on keeping us supplied with tea and coffee.

Further work on Friday evening (yesterday) means that tram track is complete and should allow the workday on Sunday to be used for test running trams and ease any curves/ check rails giving problems.
Some track laying on the main line sections should also be possible.
